An original body-dance practice that helps awaken sensuality, explore the body, and give yourself permission to be any way you are.
There's no taboo here.
Just you. Real. Alive.
Hi, I'm Jenya.
At 25, I auditioned for a national dance show. The judges said I lacked femininity. It hurt — and it was exactly after that rejection that I started exploring vogue and sensual movement techniques. What I confronted in myself back then became the foundation of the method today.
At 30, I understood: technique alone isn't enough. So working with the inner state, not just the form, became the foundation of Taboo Movements. Here, it's not just about learning a movement. It's about switching off your head, starting to LIVE THROUGH the movement and FEEL your own body.
"Here, everything is allowed. Here, we break taboos"
Taboo Movements blends dance, theatre, and body-based practices: strip plastique, vogue, sacred and tribal dance, improvisation, breathwork, and work with goddess archetypes.
We explore the body, awaken sensuality, and learn to live different states, roles, and facets of ourselves.
Four sessions — one story:
Body, breath, hips, chest, softness, pleasure. We bring attention back from the head into the body and start to feel it.
Sensuality, pleasure, sexual energy, fluidity, touch, music, inner state.
Walk, gaze, poses, taking up space, confidence, presence. How to stop making yourself smaller.
Goddess archetypes, play, different states and roles, shadow, freedom, improvisation.
You start to feel your body better, understand it, and get more pleasure from it.
Less comparing and judging — more freedom to move exactly the way you want.
You allow yourself to be sexual, alive, and free — without worrying about "you can't do that."
I love that the classes are always different, and I end up using some of the movements at parties — I genuinely feel more confident and vibrant. For me it's also a great way to unwind after a week at the computer — all those waves, backbends, and soft stretches really release tension. Just meow. And of course, huge credit to Jenya: her energy, the atmosphere, the way she runs the class — it's always so charging.
I started coming to Jenya's Taboo Movements in February, and I can say that over these six months I've seen huge changes — I started feeling the first results around month two or three. What I love most is the layered nature of her classes. It's not just dance, and it's not just body flow work. There's work happening on several levels at once: body, strength, core, mobility, posture, and of course sensuality and freedom of movement. As Jenya likes to say — it's the real sexy gym.
I trained with Jenya for several years. And these were the best classes ever — not just vogue, not just walks or dance, but a chance to unlock your femininity, play with theatre, try on roles. Come to Jenya's — you'll step into the Extravaganza universe!
Honestly, I was really uneasy before my first class. But the moment I walked into Jenya's studio, all the fear and tension just disappeared. Jenya creates such a relaxed, comfortable, and safe atmosphere that you very quickly stop being shy and just let yourself be you.
Message me — I'll tell you how the class works, and we'll find the right format: group, private, or online.
